With a lifelong interest in performing, music studies, art history, writing, and interior design, it was almost a no-brainer for Brittany to tie these inclinations into their filmmaking.
Brittany grew up in southwest Florida and attended Florida State University to achieve a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and a Master of Fine Arts in Film Production from the FSU College of Motion Picture Arts. During time at the university, Brittany volunteered and worked on numerous undergraduate and graduate level films, as well as working in the 48 Hour Film Festival of Tallahassee, becoming a production volunteer at the university's radio station WVFS Tallahassee, and gaining employment with the on-campus movie theater (the Student Life Cinema, or SLC) to lead and teach fellow students in development and production of commercial materials for the theater.
Brittany is proficient in Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, Adobe Encore, Adobe Encoder, Final Cut, Nuendo, Dropbox, DSLR and RED cameras, painting and drawing, sketching, storyboarding, props and other art department, and is continuing to learn various Adobe Suite programs while self teaching guitar and blowing away friends with karaoke.
Whatever you hand Brittany, you can be sure it will be studied in detail and passionately executed.
